So, I had a craving for some super yummy, super simple cake cookies the other day, and so I set off on a mission to make the most unique combination I could find. I went to the store and ended up with a box of Dunkin Hines Strawberry Cake Mix for inspiration- to which I added chocolate chips & walnuts for extra fun.
These are so simple to make, it’s almost insulting. Also, you probably already have everything at home. So, start with a cake mix you like, choose some mix-ins, and get to baking. (Side notes: I used a 1/3 cup of oil, or slightly less than the recipe. Also I added 1 ts baking powder, which isn’t necessary, but totally recommended)
I served mine up on the patio alongside some cool lemonade. Yummy!
