Downtown in Wilmington

We went into the city for the day to do more exploring. We started the morning at Greenfield Park, and luckily for us it was cool and overcast. The sun came though the clouds just a little and made for some nice shots over by the rotary club. Next, we headed downtown for some lunch.

Carolina Beach State Park

On September 11, 2011, we took the Southport Ferry up to Fort Fisher and drove up the road to Carolina Beach State Park. They have a boat launch and a nice system of trails. It was very sunny and a beautiful day to be enjoying the outdoors! Read more…
